System Engineer MES/MOM at Perstorp AB

Lead Perstorp’s Digital Transformation as a System Engineer in MES/MOM! Empower our smart manufacturing solutions.

This process is managed in collaboration with our external partner Ada Digital. All applications will be forwarded to them.

As a System Engineer in our MES/MOM team, you will push development and integration projects across global production environments. You will combine software development with process industry insights, optimizing data acquisition and visualization for smarter manufacturing. Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate MES/MOM applications with ERP, BI, DCS and other production systems.
  • Configure and maintain cloud-based DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
  • Handle data acquisition, contribute to the data quality assurance and data transformation from diverse sources.
  • Build and manage models for advanced analysis and visualization.

Your Team and Workplace

You will be part of a dedicated team of system engineers focused on MES/MOM platforms within Operational Excellence. Working closely with Analytics, IT and Production, you will benefit from a culture emphasizing cooperation, integrity and operational excellence.

About You

You have previous experience in software engineering and it is a plus if you worked in manufacturing. You have knowledge in C#, Phyton, JS, CSS and SQL. We think you are interested in and have skills in clean, well-tested coding practices. You create understanding, progress and focus on quality and business value.

As a person, you have a strategic way of thinking, a drive and willingness to support and find solutions. You are a structured person with great analytical skills as well as a proactive and curios approach. You are confident in communicating in Swedish and English both verbally and in writing.


Other information

  • This position is a permanent position based in Perstorp or Malmö (preferably Perstorp as most of the team is based there). We work in a hybrid work arrangement, where we expect office appearance at least two working days per week.
