The Feed & Food sector, is currently undergoing a major investment and now has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join our Sales/Commercial Team for the APAC Region. The role will be largely based at any big city of South East Asia or India. Some global travel will be necessary.
This position has emerged at a really exciting time and presents the successful candidate with an opportunity to play a key role in our ambitious plans for further growth within the Feed & Food industry.
Responsible to the Vice President, APAC, the successful applicant will support the sales team to drive profitable and sustainable sales growth in the APAC region by supporting the Sales Managers, distributors and customers on all technical matters related to the entire Perstorp F&F additive portfolio.
The Technical Manager is the go-to person for all technical related questions, complaints and opportunities
within the APAC region. They are the experts on the Perstorp offering and on the industry needs regarding
Gut Health and Preservation.
You will take an active role in the testing phase of the Perstorp products at our Key accounts and help convert qualified leads into customers, by supporting the opportunity pipeline process in the critical technical stages.
The Technical Manager will work closely together with the Business Development team in the development
of new products and services. In addition, translate market needs into business proposals and new concepts that will then be tested in the field.
You will need a master’s degree (or equivalent) in Veterinary Science or Nutrition, and possess excellent written and spoken English. As well as a successful track record (demonstrable over a sustained period) in the feed additives, animal health or related industries. Knowledge of modern animal and/or feed production processes is also essential. As too, is an in depth practical knowledge of the Asia Pacific animal feed/poultry/swine industry, its structure and the key influencers.
