Perstorp increases prices
Effective July 1st, 2008 or as existing contracts permit Perstorp will increase the price for Pentaerythritol (Penta) by EUR 125/MT in Europe, 7 c/lb in North America and USD 200/MT in all other markets; Trimethylolpropane (TMP) by EUR 125/MT in Europe, 8 c/lb in North America and USD 200/MT in all other markets. Neopentyl Glycol (Neo) will increase by EUR 125/MT in Europe, 8 c/lb in North America and USD 200/MT on all other markets.
Prices are being increased due to substantially higher cost of operation mainly related to raw materials, energy and logistics.
