Another record breaking VIV Asia

During the last edition of VIV Asia, held in Bangkok between March 13 and 15, we were present with our own stand. Once again the exhibition provided excellent opportunities to meet prospects, customers and distributors from all over Asia. 

As a leader in the preservation of raw materials and an expert in nutritional acidifiers we could not be absent. Our focus was on the introduction of ProPhorce™ SR butyrins and on ProSid™ MI 700 - our innovative new non-corrosive mold inhibitor.

The show was visited by 33,229 visitors – a 15% increase compared to the previous edition in 2011. Visitors to the exhibition were not only from Asia but more and more people from outside of Asia - such as South America – visited the exhibition.

“During the show our stand was a meeting place for distributors, prospects and customers to discuss our new products and our ambitious plans for the region. Many customers were very interested in our esters of butyric acid as it is an innovative and easy to handle solution for solving gut health problems in both pigs and poultry” according to Marc Kinjet, Business Development Manager Feed Additives. ”It was very good to see that all of our Asian distributors and all of our prospective distributors had taken the opportunity to visit the exhibition and our booth. It showed that VIV Asia has evolved to the meeting place for the animal protein production industry, not only for the region but more and more at a global scale.”
