Ines is the Site Manager at the Polyol production site in Bruchhausen. She has been with Perstorp for three years, and her role covers a wide range of responsibilities. From overseeing production and processes to managing relations to external parties, regulatory compliance, and HR. Her day-to-day involves handling various aspects of the business, including supporting all colleagues. Ines have a background in chemistry, and over the years, she worked as a process development chemist, production chemist, production manager, and eventually a site manager – before she started at Perstorp.

“Working at Perstorp is a great experience, especially when it comes to collaborating with different people. I feel like I can truly make a difference here. The community is something I love, and the best part of my role is the variety – no day is the same. The constant challenges and learning opportunities keep me engaged, and I enjoy being able to create positive work conditions, set priorities, and think strategically for the future”, Ines says.

The most challenging part of her role is communication, since every team has different needs, with some wanting detailed information and others not, Ines explains. It’s about finding the right balance and explaining the context in a way that works for everyone. Trust is key – it’s important to build and maintain trust within the team and across the company.

“Our site in Bruchhausen has a long history, but we are currently in a major transition phase. We’re implementing new technologies, including a state-of-the-art control room and working environment. There are also several sustainability projects underway, all aimed at minimizing our environmental impact. We have an experienced, committed, and engaged team here, which makes it a great place to work”, Ines concludes.
