Jenny has been with Perstorp since 2005, holding various roles within IT application software. Today she is managing three SAP teams in two countries focused on process architecture, project management and master data. Perstorp is a part of the global IT organization, and the primary work revolves around SAP, the enterprise application software. Before joining Perstorp, Jenny studied Informatics at the University of Lund and then worked as an IT consultant for six years. In her current role at Perstorp, she has one foot in IT and the other in the business side.

“Being able to balance IT and business has always appealed to me, and it’s something I’ve carried through all my roles here. I’ve worked as a trainer, provided support, and moved through various positions, from solution expert to project manager. Now, I’m leading the strategic work on SAP projects, improvements, and master data.”

Working at Perstorp means being involved in many areas of the company, which Jenny explains helps her see how everything is interconnected. To meet people from different roles and cultures, all of whom are open and eager to learn from one another, is something she feels is rewarding.

“Having a broad internal and external network is crucial—not just for my own work but so others feel they can turn to me for support. Above all, my colleagues in the SAP teams are the most important element. They have deep expertise in both Perstorp’s and BRB’s operations and the SAP system, and they’re always curious and eager to learn more. That’s the foundation of our success. We also get to explore and embrace new technologies from SAP, which is essential for Perstorp’s continued development and finding the right solutions for the future.”
