Perstorp’s Technical High School offers APL abroad for students
Perstorp’s Technical High School is providing an international APL internship, an opportunity greatly valuable to both students, the school and Perstorp as a company.
Perstorp are leaders of Perstorp’s Technical High School since 1996, a school located where the company was founded, in Perstorp Sweden. This school maintains courses anchored in industry with a focus on science and technology. One of the many things that the school offers is APL, an international internship that all of the students have opportunity to do, either in Sweden, Europe, USA or Asia. This opportunity is part of a unique program where the school utilizes its strong connections with companies.
In February 2024, Hugo Johansson, a former student at Perstorp’s Technical High School, pursued on a three-week APL at Perstorp’s site Toledo in USA.
"It was incredible to have the opportunity to do this internship; I learned so much, and it was valuable to experience something beyond the European perspective. It really showed the different phases of development. The best thing was the possibility of meeting so many people in many different roles. I got to experience and learn so much thanks to that", says Hugo.
“Our school’s close cooperations with companies is one of the school’s biggest strengths. It contributes to new relations, future internships, summer work and employments”, comments Karin Alfredsson, principal at Perstorp’s Technical High School.
