Mikael Gedin appointed new EVP HR for Perstorp
Mikael Gedin has worked at the engineering company ABB since 1999, and his last position was Vice President Human Resources and Operations excellence for the ABB Automation Products division.
“Perstorp has always had a high profile for employee and management development and therefore it feels very satisfying to welcome Mikael Gedin to the Perstorp Group, with his interesting background and excellent qualifications. I am convinced that with Mikael on board we will continue to be at the leading edge concerning these issues,” says Bo Dankis, Perstorp’s president and CEO.
“I’m looking forward to being part of the development Perstorp is going through with growth as a clearly specified goal and I know that Human Resources can contribute to such a process by being business-oriented and adapting to demands. It also feels exciting to be part of the executive management team with a mandate for running HR issues,” says Mikael.
Mikael will start at Perstorp in mid-May 2009 and replaces Martin Lundin who has been acting EVP Human Resources.
